Anchored Retail Center Site Preparation

The site had significant elevation changes requiring a large balanced cut/fill operation. Three detention basins had to be constructed concurrently with grading to satisfy the City drainage permit conditions — adding schedule complexity.

We sequenced the earthwork to use cut material directly in constructing detention basin berms, eliminating haul-off cost and compressing the schedule. Basin grading and storm sewer installation ran parallel with mass earthwork through a coordinated two-crew operation.

Site delivered to general contractor within the contractual window. Detention basins passed the City inspection on first submittal. Earthwork quantities balanced within 2% of the civil engineer's design volumes.
